My Top five

Hey People,

So I know it’s been a while. I’ve been going through some shit medically but its all sorted now so I’ll be posting more.

Here are songs that I’ve been feeling the past week.  Some are new others, you would of heard on the radio. I honestly think that once they’re off the radio and you listen back to them you get a real sense of the song.

Hope you Enjoy

Beg No More – Grey Horizon.

I met the Lead Singer of Grey Horizon at my mates 21st Birthday and she is stunning. I really love this song the reverb on the first verse is amazing. It really captures your attention. They also have an Ep out which is on their channel. They are a Melbourne band so if you like their Facebook you can see them live.

Rut – The Killers

The Killers are my favourite band. The Killers are better live than their recorded songs legit GO AND SEE THE KILLERS. This song was helping me through a tuff time with the “dont give up on me I’m just in a Rutt.” but now I connect more to the “I’ll climb and I’ll climb” part it’s a very uplifting song.

Stargazing – Kygo – Justin Jesso

I cried. you will cry.

Cool Kids– EchoSmith

This one has been put for a while and I know it was played on Triple J. The Term “cool” is different from where you’re a teenager in high to uni to working. In high school “cool” was shortest skirt Bullying people wagging and smoking. When you’re at Uni its the people who embrace themselves and are them selves. Finally when you’re working no one gives a fuck if you’re cool or not.

Hotel – Kita Alexander.

Okay so, this song is sad. Kita wrote this about her sister who died. the verses hit you hard when you listen to them and focus on the words.

Warning Contains Spoilers – AVENGERS INFINITY WAR

WARNING CONTAINS SPOILERS

So this is kind of a spoil session of the new avengers movie, Infinity  war. And if you haven’t seen this yet maybe don’t read this unless you want to know the ending.

MASSIVE SPOILERS

Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

It wont be too long and I’m bias cause I really enjoyed the movie.

But the ending holy shit! I cried so hard when peter was just Mr stark I feel funny Mr stark no and you could see the hurt on Tony’s face it just about killed me.

Here is something that I’m sure everyone picked up on and if you didn’t stop eating popcorn and drinking you “pepsi” in important parts. You have Dr. Strange telling Tony this was the only way. and again if you’re not an idiot you would of picked up on how he went through 1.2 million version of the up coming event. And in which they only won one. So basically that is the only way they could win. Plus when they were in Thanos ship  and Strange said “If it come between you the kid or the stone I will not hesitate the stone.” Also strange isn’t stupid and he got more humanity in him through the movies cause you know character development. He knew that Thanos gave Tony Respect and he would live. It will come down to him.

And of course there is also the fellow movies coming up spider man, guardian of the galaxy three another strange film so there’s those spoilers.

But also a person who is more of a geek than me pointed out how in the comics Groot is apart of another team he just didn’t want to spoil that for me.

In the comics it shows Groot, Quin (starlord), Captain America and Dr. Strange wearing the gauntlet.

These are just little nuggets of information.

Also in the comics as well there is one where GROOT DR. Strange and Quinn I believe wear Thanos gauntlet, which will be pretty sick, and it also means that they will come back. I’m not too sure about LOKI though as he already died and came back its not like he’s a Winchester.

I also have another bone to pick. When I was seeing Black Panther they showed the Infinity War trailer before the movie and you say the the King T’Challa was alive, so when he died in the film it made it kinda obsolete cause you saw that he came back…

I hope you enjoyed this post a bit late but i hope you enjoy it.

A Very Frustrated Person.

Okay so,

Here is a rant from me to you, and I hope anyone and everyone can relate.

I’m currently sitting on the train after a long day at trade school. People are idiots. I got on the train home found a four seater 5 minutes before the train was about to leave. Then two middle age people who are all just busney decide to sit across from. All good, all good. EXECPT their feet are right fucking next to me and THEY TOOK THEIR SHOES OFF AND LEGIT SAID “I’m sorry my feet really hurt.” YEAH SURE OKAY BUT FUCKING REALLY?? CANT THEY JUST LIKE KEEP THEM ON. The two lady’s, they look like on the outside but underneath their skin they are chair hogging vixens. Do us all a favour love and keep your manky feet enclosed, it’s but that hard.

But what’s even worse is they’re shaking the whole god damn chair in the process. I’m trying to work on my fucking blog over here and start reading the first book out of my book challenge BUT NO! I was so enraged that I HAD TO DO THIS.

Oh fuck now they’re taking fucking phone calls being loud

“I’m so important I have to talk on the quiet carriage.” That is all I hear.

Can they fucking not IM IN THE QUIET CHARRIGE BY THE WAY

(This is a massive pet peeve for me.)

Feet are still up.

They stink

I wish I could take pictures but I cant. I don’t want to scare people

Now they both are on their phones

Fuck me dead.

I really shouldn’t swear but honestly c’mon.

But what was funny I’ve been doing a lot od listening and one of the chicks are sucking up hard to the other one. The so claimed other one got the phone call first, and the second legit hurried to her phone and decided to call who ever she thought to, and I’m like have some class love please.

I really just want to sleep.

Ugh her bag is right now my feet and I want to move them but I cant cause. I don’t want to stoop to their serpent level and make everything spill.

I take everything back they complemented my phone case.

Thanks for reading this, comment your horrible train stories.

Book Challenge

Hi to whoever reads this,

I’ve decided to start a little book challenge for myself on this rainy day. “Whats the challenge?” I hear no one say. I am going to read 50 books that I’ve chosen for the BBC Top Read 200 books. I’m excited honestly, I’ve been a bit slack on my reading since going to uni and getting a job which I have to get up at a un godly hour for. But you know Money rules the world.

I think I’ll start with the books I already have to save some coin as this could get pricy quiet easily so I’ll be hunting  in second-hand book shops, The Book Depository, might do some Audible and the library aswell. Even though the library these days legit are just a community center with magazines where people can go study. Not sure if they will have many classics. ALSO PENGUIN CLASSIC BOOKS WENT UP IN PRICE. I swear they where ten dollars but now they’re 13. I Believe that is just plain rude. but I digress and here are the 50 books I’ll be Reading. Although it will most likely turn into more as there will be trilogy’s  (spoiler) and others I may find interesting, but I’ll Keep you posted. I’ve also decided not to do Harry Potter, I know a lot of people have read it and seen the movies.  Anyway Here are the books.

Australian Authors

There is just something different about Australian authors. They seem more straight to the point. They’re also blunt.

Markus Zuzak, best known for being the author of the Book Thief but, I want to tell you about another book of his called, The Messenger. It helps me explain this. I do admit as well that that it can be a personal choice to use colloquial language, I do however see it a lot more in Australia. Down Under. The good ol’ convicts.

The Messenger is about a Sydney taxi Driver Ed Kennedy on a somewhat personal story which he doesn’t know about. he accidentally stops a bank robbery and is proclaimed to be a hero. He later receives an ace of diamonds from someone he doesn’t know. On it it has addresses and time in which he must be there to change an event. I dont wont to give anything else away but its a good read.

Right Aussie. So again in the Messenger theres a quote that Zuzak uses which is “smells like sex” there is no fluffing around it. its straight to the point. this is blunt. For the hell of it is Aussie.  The you have F. Scott Fitzgerald who’s american and did a beautiful description  of a green light in Gatsbys eyes. ”

“Gatsby believed in the green light, the orgastic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that’s no matter–tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther…. And one fine morning– So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past. “

FFs this is about a green light not a woman he is in love with. well the green light is opposite on the lake from his love but not the point. Only kidding. Gatsby bought the mansion across the lake from Daisy to be closer to her and hoped they would be together again. which they were until the husband got involved and he got shot. sorry for the spoiler,

I just love how outstanding the contrast is between the countries people live in and how they are raise and also when they were born. Its beautiful and helps the word go round.

Anyway hoped you enjoyed this post.
